We had a full weekend, family on my Dad’s side that we hadn’t met before came over on Saturday , we spent the day together, ate, talked and the children did some bow shooting, it was fun; My husband’s friend from Germany arrived yesterday at our home. So, my dear readers….that is why I am starting my list this late…
A list that I love, a list of gratitude, a list of endless gifts, every Monday.
I have been thinking as I see my children interacting with their friends, how much friends have influenced my life. So today I want to give thanks to my Heavenly Father for the friends that have surrounded our lives in these past years. They have been with us day by day. We have walked together learning, loving, laughing, crying.
We have talked about our sins, His forgiveness; our dreams, our kids growing up, the life ahead…the hope we share. We have even talked about the ordinary, the plants in the greenhouse, our hair feeling like “straw”, the gingerbread lattes and the pumpkin muffins. The wrinkles, and the joy of becoming older…hoping to be wiser.
Thank you, my Lord, for the friends that surround our home, help us to run the race together, with all diligence. encouraging one another to good works. To do what is pleasing in your sight. Not grumbling, or speaking what is evil, but only what is of good name, worthy of praise.
166. Thank you for our friends…all of them, in distant lands, or close to us.

And I never though I would say this: “Thank you, Lord, for the internet, the blogs, Ning, Skype, thank you because we can stay in touch!
I love you my friends!!
