My Library

These are some of the books that we love the most, that have nourished our souls, and have given us the opportunity to grow.
I love the smell of books, specially the worn-out ones, the color of the pages, the ilustrations.I love to have one in my car, one in my purse, and one or two besides my bed.
I like to mark them, to make them mine. To leave my thoughts there…as some one said, “For my children’s children to read some day”
We home school and some have come and asked “Don’t you think your kids need more teachers besides you and your husband?” My answer is, “Yes, that is why we read.” We have had the greatest teachers of all times in our living room, or as guests at our table. We have heard the best story tellers of all times under our blanket, and we have heard, we have grown.
But all books are nothing, compared to the one that really leads our way, and shapes our mind, and nurtures our souls: The Bible; a lamp unto our feet. The very Word of God, infallible, inerrant, perfect, complete, whole. This Book is not only the most important one in our library; without this book we would not be able to know Jesus, the only Way, the Truth, the Life.
Feel free to ponder through the library….
(I AM STILL WORKING ON THIS…. )
