Learning Something New
He is fifty-five years old, we call him Don Rubén, he has worked hard all of his life, he has suffered, his life has not been easy, yet we are so blessed by him. He comes and helps us with al the maintanance of our house but he is always doing something else, something greater, he teaches my children new things every time he sees an opportunity, and they are always learning; after all that is what homeschooling is all about, isn’t it?
Don Rubén taught one of our children something that no one else could have done. He taught him how to make a thread out of the Maguey, a cactus in Mexico.

I love to see my children sitting at the feet of older men who are wise and understand that our God given abilities, our knowledge is to be passed down to future generations.
Join us in prayer, that the Lord may bring Don Rubén to his feet so that he may find in Him peace, the peace that only comes when we have been forgiven, when our burden of guilt and sin are taken away from us.
